In my study I need to stop the cell-cell interaction. For that I am using EGTA, but I came to know that EGTA affects the Calcium signaling.
Is EGTA good to stop the cell-cell interaction or any other best alternative?

What type of cells? What culture conditions? What density? Adherent or suspension culture?

There are many forms of cell to cell interaction and there is no single molecule that can block it all. I think you may be able to limit cell to cell interaction, but I don't think you can entirely stop cell to cell interaction as long as you have more than one cell within close proximity. Even a dying cell will release chemicals that will affect the others.
