I think the best is mechanical analysis for the sediment,
but I Prefer read more about it and ask perfect Geologist.

The application of Gamma Ray method is not always exact because the presence of radioactivity in sandstone (feldespath ....) it miss the calculation of the volume clay.

La spectroscopie du gamma ray (Th; K; U) est probalement la plus efficace, a default calculer grace ax formules du vsh (stieber, ol rock...) le vsh en integrant le IGR qui est Gr-grmin / grmax-grmin.
