yes sir,after getting the intrinsic mode functions ,we can de noise the high frequency group for better signal to noise ratio .There are so many procedures for to do that process . we just require is there any information regarding that methods.
EMD is used for denosing the signal. However I do not understand what you mean by denoising the IMFs. Here is a paper for denoising the signal with EMD:
"Development of EMD-Based Denoising Methods Inspired by Wavelet Thresholding".
You can use specific IMFs for reconstructing the signal, you can randomly circular shift the IMFs in an iterative way to denoise the signal all which are explained in the paper.
After EMD, there are may be noise and signal coexist in the same IMF(s), all we need to do is to (1) define the property of IMFs and (2) filtering the IMFs using threshold method. Just like Abdullah say, reference "Development of EMD-Based Denoising Methods Inspired by Wavelet Thresholding" is a good choice to start.
