What is the best marker to study neutrophil NET?

I am not sure if neutrophils NET investigations are more visual or protein based (?)

visual (confocal and electronic microscopy) and fluorescence based (microplate readers) using probes like picogreen or sytox orange. Important controls: DNAse and DPI (NADPHox inhibitor)
