Lead tin alloys tend to be replaced because of health problems related to the use of lead...
I suggest however you send a e-mail to Pierre Roumanille ([email protected]) who prepare a PhD thesis of the subject of new soldering materials. He knows well the bibliography related to lead solders. You can find also its work on Research Gate.
There are many options that you can use those does not have lead in them. Commercially, you can go over Indium Corporation's website. They sell different solder types in bulk and also in small numbers. During my Ph.D. thesis, I bought solder foil from them and it worked perfectly. Here is their website: http://www.indium.com/solders/
You can also contact Inventec company (http://www.inventec.dehon.com/fr/) and for instance ask Dr Aurélie Ducoulombier who is a specialist in this company ([email protected]).
