What is the best ear protection (ear muff, not ear plug) for sonication?

Hi,

we have an EpiShear™ Probe Sonicator used to shear chromatin for ChIP. We do not have a sound enclosure for this equipment so we are looking for reliable and safe ear muffs to avoid the adverse effects of sonication. I would be grateful to have relevant info for those using this type of ear protection routinely.
