I am preparing a grant proposal and need to find a detection system for western blots for less than $10K. I really want a Li-Core Odyssey CLx but can't fit it in the budget. The Li-Core Fc is 'low $30Ks' and the chemi digit is about $5K. Is there a system that can do chemiluminescence and fluorescence for around $10K? If so, I haven't found one yet.

Thanks, Fabrice. I have asked for a quote from Biorad on the XRS. The previous quote was for the ChemiDoc Touch that has an internal computer. The link you sent is not available in the US. It blipped on my screen for 2 seconds before being replaced with a message that this promotion is not available to me, so I'm glad you mentioned the name of the product in your message. I think it will do what I want and probably will be just a little more expensive than I wanted to pay, but I can play with my budget a bit.
