I need to get the barometric pressure data for a location in Michigan for the last year and I have not been able to find a data set. All I need is barometric pressure, this is a little bit our of the field that I generally work in and could use some direction!

Just an update, Weather Underground does have access to historical data for many of their listed stations, which is very useful if you need specific local data for a site.

It does take some time to scrape the data, but it provides hourly measurements which can be very valuable!

You can scrape the data using rSelenium (or python). I followed this tutorial:

I just modified it to scrape for weatherunderground.com.
This site is the best I have found. https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/ Many weather stations accessible through this site collect pressure as well as other data (tides, wind, precip., temp., etc.). Ideally, I could find 15 minute time step datasets, but it seems only 6-minute or hourly data are available. I need the baro data for adjusting unvented pressure transducers for water levels collected every 15 minutes.
Here is a source for hourly pressure and ocean swell and wave data from a NorCal buoy as an example: https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_history.php?station=46027. To import to a spreadsheet, highlight data on screen and copy/paste into blank excel file; save as text file. Open as "fixed width" data.
