For CIP processes to eliminate bacterial endotoxins or species in mobile vessels and pipes, a sodium hydroxide (NaOH) concentration of 0.5% to 2% is recommended, with some applications using up to 4%. Operating at temperatures between 60°C to 65°C enhances cleaning effectiveness.
