Sir, I am making a low cost, real time Turbidity measuring instrument for our lab. In turbidity meter we use different kind of Sources like LED, Lasers etc. & It also use detectors, I placed my detector at degrees to my source IR LED. I put my water sample in between source and detector.

My detector is not showing proper output. So, I decided to replace my current light source (IR LED) and detector (Silicon diode). Can you suggest few photo-diodes, I can replace to my current design of the device???
