I want to study the emergence and return of the bats in a cave in relation to the duration of the night and day based on data associated with the moment of the sunset and the sunrise during a day in a place located in northern Madagascar. So, I would like to know the website to visit to obtain free and accurate data for my study.

Hi Riana,
I'm not sure about a website, but if you are an R user (R Studio) you can use the package 'suncalc' to obtain sunrise and sunset times for any locality. All you need are the GPS coordinates for the areas that you interested in (the areas that you want to obtain the sunrise/sunset times for).

Riana, if you are in the field, almost any GPS can give you sunset and sunrise time. In Garmin devices look for 'Sun and moon' application.

I use https://sunrisesunsetmap.com/ for exactly the same purpose. Not for localities in Madagascar though, but it worked for me just fine all around Europe. First, you put a pin on your locality and then you can download the pdf with sunrise/sunset data for the whole year,
