I want to inhibit inwardly rectifying potassium (Kir) channels by barium chloride in rat brain via cannula assisted drug infusion. However most of the authors have used it in patch clamp studies and intra-viteral infusions with varying concentrations ranging from 100 micro molar to 3 mM. The IC50 value is greater than 10 micro molar of BaCl2.

Please let me know if anyone have done the infusions of BaCl2 in rat or mice brain via cannula or have hold of such papers.
