The issue is that in this case, only the hydrograph of the tributary is accessible as you can see in the updated schematic picture.
Maybe you can consider MUSKINGUM-CUNGE METHOD if you have necessary information about the study river reach.
It is used for channel routing when you know the parameters x and k. See any textbook.
It is the most commonly referred (in textbooks) lumped river flow routing method. It is a black-box type model that maps any inflow hydrograph to a corresponding outflow hydrograph in a river reach if the mapping parameters x and k are known. Although hydraulic equations can be used, calibration is a common procedure for finding the river parameters without any need to channel geometry and roughness. I believe, it has the accuracy of a diffusion wave routing model. Most rainfall-runoff models have the option to use this model for stream-flow routing, and it can be a simple yet proper method when reliable data is available for calibration.
