I cannot find an emission factor for a food wrap manufacturing in my searches including the EPA. If none is available, can one be reasonably calculated using the liquid film vapor pressure at the die temperature? Thank you.
PVC will melt in blow molding, but should be essentially free of volatile components before that step. You wont find data on PVC vapor, but you will find VCM vinyl chloride monomer and the first few low molecular weight adducts. You might find a VOC regulation for your process.
Thanks for your suggestion, Jerry. I am particularly interested in PM emissions from the melt and bubble. I see some vague references to 0.05% w/w for calendering but nothing for blown film.
