Hello,
I am comparing CV and CPM method with impactor dropped on already filled airbag by the air. There is no inflator, volume and mass inside of the airbag is given directly by the geometry of the airbag.
Unfortunatelly, during simulation of CPM temperature of the gas is increasing although the impactor is decelerated and pressure inside the airbag is decreasing.. Because of this temperature change, there starts to be an unbalance with ideal gas behaviour and results did not match the test data.
IAIR= 2 , pressure and temperature inside of the bag is the same as a temperature outside of the bag.
