one source you can try to investigate is U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs Bureau of Justice Statistics.Unfortunately the police or Homeland security doesn't deal with such matters as I had a research on economic crisis in regional economics law and order breakdown and those 2 institutions drew a blank. Second source you can use for indicator purposes only are credit agency reports which carry a reference to crime rate.
