All metabolism involves energy tranfer and stored in the form of ATP or ADP. We take carbohydrates, consume oxygen, but where comes this phosphorus and phospate which is always involved in the energy transfer mechanism. Each phospate gives nearly 3000 to 7000 cal per mole. Kindly explain the source of it for the synthesis of ATP.
