The ejections might happen in all blackholes because of their origine (Death of A Star) but their orientations to the earth sometimes make us maybe unable to observe them. All we observe sometimes is A big gravity from an unseen source . I wounder if we can simply use the divergence of the shape of the ejections of the blackhole to measure the intensity of its Gravity.
there are different ways of reasoning in science. One of those is inference to the best explanation(IBE). it tells us if a scenario about the world can meet all the known evidences and can explain them then that scenario is true.
we have got some scientific evidences about gravity, space-time and... . General relativity is a scenario that could explain the most of that evidences and it predicts a solution called black hole. So, by IBE we can claim that that is true unless there are extra evidences that it cannot explain.

there are alternative theories in science but the point is that the alternative theories share the same observational result.
the paper you referenced claims that ths speed of light is not constant. okey. there is no surprise, this theory and special relativity both share the same observational results, no matter the speed of light is constant or not.
Following on by request from my response in the discussion "Do Blackholes depend on absolute vacuum?", I need to repeat that everything scientifically "known" about blackholes has been mathematically derived by science from the basic (unverified) assumption that the dimensions of mass, length & time (MLT) are linear and fundamental.

A new experiment could make a vacuum-sealed environment of 0 Kelvin but far from Gavity. The Bose-Einstein condensate could be observed for a few time. Is it the 5th form of matter?
