Is there a relationship between particle size and atomic radiation lifetime of laser induced plasma excited by ns pulsed laser? For example the emission lines of Al between micro-sized Al powder(μ-Al)and nano-sized Al (n-Al).
Thanks for your kind reply. I have read the paper you mentioned, why is the experiment in a liquid? Besides, my question is about the direct interplay between laser and metal particles. What do you think of the relationship between radiation lifetime and particle size of the target material?
The question is unclear to me, is it the relationship between the decay of the plasma emissions from the target materials, or the lifetime of the individual atoms in the material itself.
