The need for polymeric coatings actually depends upon the end product application. Like to add the self-clean behaviour, to maintain its aesthetic value, to increase the product durability. You need to choose polymers depending upon its application.

For what purposes do you want to use polymer coatings?

We develop technologies for gas-flame method of polymer powder materials on metals, plastic, concrete, etc. Only thermoplastic polymer powders are used. For example, our thermal spray allows spraying polymer coatings based on ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene with various fillers that determine the functional purpose of the polymer coating: anti-corrosion, anti-friction, radiation-protective, etc.
