Which one of this level of processing for Satellite data ( COSMO SkyMed ) will be good for my study.And I am ordering STRIPMAP HIMAGE. Mostly, I will be using for DEM extraction, river cross section extraction, Landuse/landcover etc.
1. Level 0( RAW)
2. Level 1A( SCS) - Single Look Complex Slant
3. Level 1B( MDG) - Detected Ground Multi Look
4. Level 1C( GEC) - Geocoded Ellipsoid Corrected
5. Level 1D(GTC)- Geocoded Terrain Corrected

One data may not be overall useful for any purpose. If you go with DEM, SCS would be the most ideal (I assume you do not have access to SAR processor). For LULC, GTC Dual Pol may be the best source.
