Of course, we all know all of these terms separately. ML (machine learning), AI (artificial intelligence), the industrial revolution, industry 4.0, and so on... But my intention here is to ask our friends from science: Would you be able to connect all of this in a simple way, to make it clear for anyone to understand?
I believe that it would be great if we could bring science (and engineering) to the floor, in a manner that normal day-by-day work could be improved by non-specialists.

To make it clear for non-specialists, some high level overview should be given. Of course anyone can understand some basic principles of AI and ML. However, we should notice that in order to really understand the concepts, you should delve into them within a mathematical framework. So, I think that's the privilege of specialists.
Applications, on the other hand, are easier and eventually people use them in daily lives, including in the day-to-day work.
So, in short, you could teach non-specialists in a practical way and it works. But the real science, as I said, is deep and complex and should be pursued only by specialists.
