Is there any place for this theory in your field?
Game theory is the study of mathematical models of negotiation, conflict and cooperation between individuals, organizations and governments. The study has direct applications in contract theory, economics, sociology and psychology.
Thanks Amirreza to be the first one to answer my question but, what about this theory in your field .. do you have any examples to show how this theory works?

Game: Any set of circumstances that has a result dependent on the actions of two of more decision makers ("players")
Players: A strategic decision maker within the context of the game
Strategy: A complete plan of action a player will take given the set of circumstances that might arise within the game
Payoff: The payout a player receives from arriving at a particular outcome.

You are right, it is applied in as a means of modeling strategic behavior, agent to maximize by understanding actions affect actions of others
