Dear @Emad, thanks for sharing the question. I do not know, I am not aware if RG influence my personality. But, I do like this open source platform for sharing, cooperation, discussions, getting new friends, meet different cultures... Publication base that is available is very large and helpful to researhers.

RG has not much influence on ones personality or popularity! Besides RG, there are many ways for us to increase or improve our research visibility. I often update my works in RG, Google Scholar, Academia, Mendeley, ..as they are free reference manager and academic social network. They can help me organize my research, share research papers, collaborate with other researchers, discover the latest research and new topics, ...

RG platform is for the knowledge bringing the views ,opinion & talents for the members associated with their individual platform for his knowledge . Knowledge is wide & no limit ,RG platform help to carry out your action & contributory part of  your working environment which we may place before our action in the for our publication replying the question of members & also participating in publication & project.

Our action for our contribution helps us to give us the satisfaction & nothing more . It is our action which speak for itself & offer us the satisfaction. Our individual personality may not come into the picture as knowledge has no limit.

 RG is a unique way to learn about others and  in many, I have found a deep concern for mother earth and how we live here on this planet which extends far beyond their limited research area.  Their humanity has stimulated me to learn more about them and read their research. I am grateful for this contact and I feel I have made many new friends. So I would say RG has opened me to learn more about many scientists and their work from different disciplines and countries in a very human way.. It has also given me an opportunity to share some of my ideas and have them reflected back by others. For me this is a learning curve which I find stimulating and it has often opened me to new ways of seeing things.

I cannot say for sure how it has influenced my personality. My time since joining is still too short to make an assessment on that. However, what I do know is that I have found researchgate better for me than other social media where all kinds of people go as well. Researchgate is a safe space in which to interact with other serious minded people; learn from others, and share what one knows. It has also been personally and professional rewarding in showcasing my works and getting recommendations for certain international positions. 

You are drawing a shining picture to my feelings towards the great academic social media ResearchGate, I completely agree with you Dr. Rose Nkechi Uchem , and the main features in this site are NOT found in other platforms so that makes me in a continuous competition with myself first and with my colleagues. I strongly recommend your reply.
