I have been asked to prepare a sketch for the data management of a survey which we conducted recently.
can anyone share with me a sample or any guidance on how to start and what information to put in this sketch?
I need your advise on the length and type of this sketch, as well as the contents.

Could you ask the requester for some clarification?
Might they mean some kind of flowchart, showing the various activities, and the order in which they are to be/were done???

You can look up information graphics. Its the way people use graphics, a sketch, to present data in a visual and readily understood form. For example; a pie or bar chart is used to show proportions of people who like one thing over another. - But the graphics used must relate to the data. You need to tell us what kinds of data you have and how its used.
Also, to not ask for further clarification about the sketch or take the time or make an effort to look at previous sketches in your company is a kind of lame.
