In India, till October 2013, 55063 cases of dengue were reported by the health ministry. Projecting this figure for the whole year would make it 66076 for the year 2013. The figure for the year 2008 was 12561. Over the last 5 years, 526% increase in dengue cases has happened in India. It is targeting to reduce mortality from dengue by 50% over the next 5 years but we have to intensify the control measures with community involvement.

In Brazil, the municipal and state health departments along with the Ministry of Health has done systematically for public awareness campaigns to combat dengue trough information on television, radio, newspaper. Its a lack of environmental education that tends progressively to be minimized trough educational information transmitted to population specially that of low socio economic level

In Yemen-diagnosis of dengue is not sure depend on clinical fixture ,serolgical test is limited and may be not sure

Efficient vector control, proper water management and community participation in prevention programs can help to mitigate the disease.

Perhaps is not common, but the joint and coordinated work withrural and urban communities using the qualified diverse sectors human resources: health, education and agriculture in the care of stored drinking water, control of waste and containers, vector protection during high risk activities, may also contribute to the mitigation of the epidemic. Additional strategies should be tested as a complement to the traditionally used.

Dengue is an arbovirus. For transmission to continue there always must be mosquitoes. common sense would dictate that the only effective way to block transmission is to contain mosquito bites by controlling human-mosquito contact. Anyone anywhere who is serious enough would agree that with the knowledge on the bionomics of the Aedes mosquito this should not be an intractable problem. But you see those people who are in power have their priorities elsewhere

Provincial Governments are actively in mass education of community by media  and on improvement of personal health  due to this companion,  and effective fumigation has resulted in decline of dengue fever this year
