As a freelancer teacher I always used to dedicate around 1 day to improving my skills and feedback from clients (Admin). To grow and develop with your students it is essential to listen, learn and communicate as much as they have to. I remember the old school teachers rule
PPA must be 10% of a teacher’s teaching timetable, eg if a teacher has 22.5 hours of timetabled teaching time they must receive 2.25 hours of PPA time per week.
PPA time must be provided in minimum blocks of 30 minutes to enable the time to be put to meaningful use.

Assessment of learning is different from assessment for learning, the former is a summative assessment whereas the latest is a formative assessment. The goal of the assessment of learning for a lecture, lesson, course, semester or a curriculum is to provide a grade of student's achievement. It is very important for the teacher, as it is the tool that informs him/her about the initiative planning of a particular subject, and eventually to discover the shortcomings and the gap between what we planned and what we achieved.
