Assume that a circular platform is an ideal rigid body, it rotates around its center of circle with fixed angular velocity ω1. Given a particle 'p' on the platform, I have known its angular velocity ω1 . Keeping same angular velocity, I tilt the platform by an angle 'phi' respected x-y plane. The projection of particle motion path on the x-y plane will be a ellipse. May I calculate angular velocity ω2 of projection of particle on the x-y plane based on angular velocity ω1?
