Can anyone suggest me a suitable vehicle to dissolve a drug that is already dissolved in DMSO to be administered in vivo to mice? This drug seems to be insoluble in saline or PBS (it precipitates) and appears cloudy when dissolved in water. I was suggested to use cyclodextrin but we don't have a stock of it right now. Is there any other alternative than cyclodextrin to dissolve this kind of drug?
We thought of administering the drug with DMSO completely, but there is a legal limit to the amount of it to be given to animals.
