Dear Mark

Open vessel digestion is best to optimize the complete dissolution or leaching of metals from organic/ synthetic fibers.

100 +/-10 mg sample with 3ml conc HNO3, 3ml HCLO4and 3 ml H2 SO4 in Teflon beaker heat in the hot plate upto 200 +/- 300 C for complete dry and dissolve the residue in HNO3 for further analysis.
