Dear All,

We will be performing immunohistochemical staining for (pro)renin receptor (ATP6AP2), and I would like to perform a tissue negative control along with the standard isotype control.

I'm struggling to find suitable tissues however, as (pro)renin receptor appears to be expressed almost ubiquitously (as per HPA, and a few other review articles that do not clearly cite their sources). My first choice is smooth muscle, with colon and normal breast as potential alternatives.

Are there any other resources I should be looking at? Does anyone else have any experience with tissue negative controls for (pro)renin receptor?

Many thanks,

Sam
