Our final project for a college course involves the expansion of PC-12 Adh cells. We have been using DMEM's culture medium supplemented with L-Glutamine, FBS and Pen/Strep antibiotics. The cells were incubated at 98,6 ºF with 5% CO2. Constant evaluations at macro and micro levels have been done for every 3 days. The last check up we notice that one of the 2 T75 flaks we had, has shifted its medium color from fuchsia to yellow.

The possibility for an incorrect gas exchange and contamination was evaluated yet determined they are not the cause of it. What other possible explanation could be given?
