There are several variations of LaTeX tools for that - just look at a fairly complete book on LaTeX, and you'll find one that will fit for you, I'm sure. And as LaTeX is standard in publishing, publishers can take very good care of it.
I agree with Professor Michael, but still, there are so many journals that asked for the Word file. They don't accept even the Latex produced pdf for the review process. At least if such pdf will work for the review the author can convert the LaTex to the word after acceptance, though it is a tedious task for a Mathematical article.
That some journals only want Word files is disgusting! It does not look at all as good as a LaTeX-based one, which has exactly the right spaces and tabs to make the reading of the code easy.
I would publish elsewhere, in order to avoid bad journals like those.
