I am imaging whole tissue samples that are submerged in Dibenzyl Ether. What would be a good way to fix the samples to the center of the well? I was initially going to test superglue, but the DBE will dissolve that rather quickly. Can anyone recommend a good alternative that will not negatively impact the sample?

Hi,
Among other things, you can try
- Polyurethane Adhesive (e.g., UHU or Loctite [they are like superglue]) - Polyurethane adhesives are often more resistant to organic solvents, including DBE
- Silicone Adhesives or RTV Silicone - RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing) silicone, often used in lab applications, could be a good choice because it tends to be more resistant to many organic solvents. Silicone-based adhesives would adhere to the sample without dissolving in DBE and might provide a flexible but stable bond.
