Nuts of Corylus avellana L. have necrotic lesions (pics). What can be a casual agent? Such disease is rather usual in local forest.

It may be "nut grey necrosis" of hazelnut (Corylus avellana) fruit caused by fungus Fusarium lateritium.

Also check it as bacterial blight of hazelnut caused by Gram negative bacterium Xanthomonas arboricola, but nuts are occasionally affected by the disease. Please see the PDF attachments.
