The many molecules with asymmetrical structure can be supercooled and behave as equilibrium liquids between temperature of melting and glass-transition temperature. In this domain molecules are partitioned to sub molecular units named beads or intramolecular dynamic exist. The cooperative rearrangement of several beads forms cooperative rearranging regions (CRR). With decreasing of temperature, the CRR increases and the size of the CRR at glass-transition temperature is strictly individual and is in the molecular metric of a classification of the liquids in accordion their fragility. See paper (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jnoncrysol.2018.10.017).
The molecules of the liquid settle as temperature decreases and for objects, they either expand or contract depending on the increase or decrease respectively.
