The Bermuda Triangle is one of the amazing landmarks in the world And there are strange, interesting and horrible events in that area. Events such as the crash of planes, the sinking of ships, the collapse of the compass, and etc. Scientists express different ideas for these events Like hexagonal clouds, deep earthquakes, atmospheric disturbances, methane gas and etc. And each of these reasons justifies part of the events in that area . What really happens in this area ? Could this be the cause of the extraterrestrials? Is there another area like the Bermuda Triangle?
Australian scientist Dr Karl Kruszelnicki has explained what he thinks really occurs over the 500,000 square kilometre area.
He blames human error for the disasters, and said to News.com.au: “According to Lloyds of London and the US coast guard, the number of planes that go missing in the Bermuda Triangle is the same as anywhere in the world on a percentage basis.
“It is close to the equator, near a wealthy part of the world, America, therefore you have a lot of traffic."
This is disputed by other scientists, however, who have other theories for what causes accidents in the Bermuda Triangle.
Dr Steve Miller, a satellite meteorologist at Colorado State University, studied the area for a significant amount of time.
He says hexagonal clouds that create 170mph 'wind air bombs' are to blame.
Speaking to the Science Channel's 'What on Earth' programme, he said: "You don't typically see straight edges with clouds. Most of the time, clouds are random in their distribution."
Dr Steve and his team used radar satellites to measure the winds at sea level under these clouds, and that was when they found them to reach speeds of up to 170mph. With wind speeds like these, 45ft waves are possible (that's quite a tempest), which is enough to drag a boat under.

I read un article in the french scientific magazine science et vie in the 1980s in which tens of the areas events were explained in a rational way concluding that nothing abnormal is taking place there.

No go to https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/education/kits/tides/media/supp_tide07b.html , you will see that the Bermuda and Dragon triangles is where three types of tides co-exist making the water flow really confusing. If nothing else, these two reasons make the two places more dangerous than any other place. In the attached picture the Bermuda Triangle is shown without letters, the Dragon Triangle is shown as TJO. The small region TOP by the Philippines is not much known but is no less interesting than the Bermuda and Dragon Triangles.
No, gas hydrates are not the cause of accidents in the Bermuda triangle. It is a common misconception, when an OPINION of a person being presented as a solid proof. As of now there is no answer as to what is happening in the Bermuda triangle.
