A patient presented with severe hypoxemia . A quasi static pressure curve plot was performed for AOP detectio. It was estimated at 17cmH2O and modest hystersis present (upper pic). PEEP was then set at 20 cmH2O without other ventilator settings change but lung volume recruitment was not achieved as expected even worsen (lower pic)
