These are not data types, they are some terms related to normalization of the reference dye with the use of passive dye. R refers to reporter in the reaction and these term only applies if a passive dye is used in the amplification process. For most of the normal qPCRs, it is not done. And it is also not required unless you are very specific to something in your analysis and do not want any background signal.
Thank you for your answer. I'll use TaqMan to quantify the number of Brettanomyces, a wine´s yeast. This system is based on a specific probe with FAM as a fluorochrome but the Master Mix come with ROX as a passive dye. I think is important to select correctly between this fluorescent option to normalize the reaction and I don't know which to use.
