Oscar - you will find at least two question threads with similar requests. seehttps://www.researchgate.net/post/List-of-journals-with-no-publishing-fees#view=5fecace7107e5246b8423a12 and https://www.researchgate.net/post/How_to_find_free-to-publish_journals - but be careful as there is a lot of bad or mediocre advice in these suggestions.
Also, I am not sure what you are fully asking - are you wanting to publish a protocol or a systematic review. Or do you need to find the protocols for writing a systematic review? I do recommend the https://doaj.org/ site where you can do searches a variety of ways and the listings have a lot of good information. But remember that standard journals are generally not included that use the subscription method, but these often great journals do publish free articles that are not OA (online access).
Juan M Pericas .-. It appears that the 'open research europe' journal/platform is (currently) only for those researchers who have "Horizon 2020" research funding. Since the APC is paid for those with this funding, even if it opens up to other researchers, it appears the cost per article would be paid by the author/institution.
True, Robert John Wolff it has a limited scope as of yet. I wanted to provide a potential alternative (though limited) to the journals I'd have typically in mind (e.g, BMJ Open, Systematic Reviews, Medicine (Baltimore), J Pers Med, JMIR Res Protocols, JBI Evid Synth, etc), all of which have APC. Thanks for clarifying.
Atiqe Ur Rahman .-. The journals4free site is "free' to read (at least some of the articles) but many of the journals have APC costs (many very high). The site is interesting but a list of over 17,000 articles is hard to go through. If you use a term for searching, you only get journals with that exact term included, so you may miss many appropriate journals even doing multiple searches.
Chinaza Godswill Awuchi .-. I appreciate your interest in listing information, but I do think you might mention that some of these sites may not be good quality or have journals that are reputable (they may work if anyone is desperate to find a journal to publish in). Regarding the jchemrev site, the journals included are of some concern. They lack good editing (especially their English), there are inappropriate articles (wrong fields), and there are articles which obviously lacked proper peer review (obvious mistakes that anyone with knowledge should have corrected).
The aijr journals are also of some concern as the quality of some of the articles and the writing is not what is acceptable for serious researchers. Some of the information given is also confusing (such as the APC) and so it might be safer if you want to establish a highly respected research program to avoid this publisher until they straighten out their journals.
Please understand that my comments are an attempt to open all of our eyes, and hopefully give us the opportunity to make better, more informed, decisions as they will affect our career and reputation.
Nityananda Das .-. If you are referring to the Journal of Nanomedicine published by meddocsonline you have missed their statement that there IS an APC of $1500 which is very high. Also the quality of the articles is poor, their website does not work well, and they do not follow their own article guidelines. AVOID!
