Hi everybody !

Here's my first question on this great plateform :

What eye-tracking devices to choose ?

Actually, I'm interested on pupillometry and fixation time/saccade. With my future team we will do IN LAB test, in front of a screen (so I think glasses are not necessary).

With my lab, we are thinking about buying a screen based bar. With the software we use, we can have a

- Tobii Bar X2-60

or a

- GazePoint GP3 60 Hz

I wanted to know if someone has any recommandation ? :)

The main point in my mind is that, it seems that we can't access to Tobii raw data, only data transformed by Tobii algorithm .. And to publish (because it's part of the point) it could be problematic because this algorithm is not validated in any paper ... am I wrong ?

Thank you very much for your answer,

Cyril Forestier
