I'm looking for a 'frequency distribution' of emotions that people experience when interacting with other people. Any leads to relevant peer-reviewed empirical work?
"Hurt feelings" describes an emotion following interpersonal rejection and - although it is intuitively right description of what people feel in these situations - it is not widely known as an emotion.
