Most authors recommend 2-3 times max dose (see Peltola et al N Engl J Med 2014), but lower doses (see Faust et al, Arch Dis Child 2012) are also used.

We use high doses of oral antibiotics (flucloxacillin, amoxicillin, cefuroxime,...) and see few side effects. What is your experience?
