I am applying Pearson's Correlation to analyze the relation between Radon and two meteorological parameters i.e. Air Temperature and Relative Humidity. For Air Temperature, Pearson's value is 0.31 (close to 0) and shows no strong relation between Radon and Air Temperature. On the other hand, Sig. (2-tailed) value for Air Temperature is "0.004" (less than 0.05) which shows significant correlation b/w Radon and Air Temperature. Why does a contradiction exist?
