There is a lot of noise about the termination of pregnancy and what effect it might have on the fetus. Today with 4-D ultrasound and the ability to monitor and observe fetal behaviour as well as examining effects of blood cortisol level as it affects represents stress in both mother and fetus, fibreoptic probes examining behaviour directly, and post-partum studies of neonatal memories, we have a better window to understand the question.
