if you want to look at phonetic properties, use PRAAT - https://www.fon.hum.uva.nl/praat/ If you are looking at the lexis only (i.e. orthographic transcription), you should consider all the extra-verbal moves (micropauses, pauses, laughter) and the metadata provided (age and gender of the speaker, speech occasion etc).
It is the purpose of your analysis that dictates which computer-based tool to choose to assist in text analysis. Free ones are Voyant, AntConc, and TAPoR.
