It's a very strange and ridiculous answer. I'm so disappointed from PRB. 

Regarding the paper, I am working with a graphene layer of about 300 atoms. But in my case I am using DFT (and a 6-31G(d,p) basis set) to fully optimized the geometry. After some months of calculations I am approaching the stationary state and can proceed with the analysis of the single point results. I tried Extended Hückel Theory but the results are not compatible with experimental results. Regards, Juan.

Juan Sebastian, I do not use extended Huckel but a home made modified huckel and my results correspond to experimental results.

Do you use periodic boundary conditions?

Dear Nathalie: I do not used periodic boundary conditions because I want to know the structure of the dangling MOs (free valences). The problem with Extended Hückel is related to the HOMO-LUMO distance (correlation energy). Regards, Juan
