As a scientist, you can express an opinion about anything. But the scientific judgement should not be believed as "authority" and quoted as "believing". One can take note of it objectively than the opinion of other social scientists. One must first ask: Is what he says true? And it corresponds to a good scientific attitude to assert if one develops the hypothesis oneself: No, it is not true. Because there are other voices that claim something different, so you are faced with the task of independently examining the state of scientific discussion.
Conclusion: One does not change the current state of knowledge by believing something or not believing what others claim, but - best of all - by one's own research efforts, which add a completely new aspect to the existing discussion.

I believe that both small sociological theories and large sociological theories are needed and should be developed. small sociological theories may be the introduction to the construction of large, more complex sociological theories. Small sociological theories may consist of diagnosed correlations and dependencies between several sociological categories. From these correlations and dependencies, models of more complex sociological processes and a larger number of different categories and components of sociological sciences may be built. Then, from the models built up with different dependencies and correlations of many different categories and constituent sociological processes, we can build complex, large sociological theories about, for example, the functioning of entire societies, cultures, multifaceted social processes, taking into account different social strata, sociological values, cultural factors, economic, historical etc. connected with each other by various dependencies, correlations, shaping the continuation of certain social, demographic, cultural, socio-economic processes, etc. for subsequent years.
