My field of study is organizational behavior and i don't know completely about marketing. however, in my opinion in order to become expertise in one field in think it is better to read various but align articles. i addition to this every article doesn't have value in order to read. therefore, try to read articles with good impact factor, well known journal and classified in Q1 or Q2 ranking.
I've read many papers on visual diaries that include generally videogrpahy, photography and other qualitative techniques such as drawings ...etc.. Unfortunately, I can't remember those about videography as my focus at that time was about drawing and photographs as research techniques, however, here after some of the papers I went through it might help.
Therefore, I should, reminds you that all my readings are about the child, and the child-consumer, but I do believe that the following papers can help in implementing this technique whether studying adult consumers or children consumers.
Good luck with your project. I hope it can help.
