Looking at chemical elements is interesting, but I think the major influence - at least when studying coffee flavour - is due to major constituents and some other compounds that act as aroma precursors. Please check my papers for other information.

What would be the practical benefits of knowing the composition in terms of chemical elements of coffee? Would this depend on the soil composition where the coffee is grown?

* Our study focuses on the analysis of the most popular beans consumed worldwide, namely, the coffee species of Arabica and Robus.

* And also the beans of coffee may be contribute significantly to human nutrition and health, because they contain many of the mineral ( major and trace element); and organic nutrients established as essential for human nutrition.

* And considering the importance of trace elements in various human metabolic processes and their contribution of significantly to human health.

* From our study, we have applied one of the sensitive analytical techniques NAA to determine the elemental profile in two species of coffee consumed in Algeria for the evaluation of their element contents. the execution of this work will reveal the contents of the major and trace elements in the samples of the coffee beans consumed in Algeria.
